Pub Selling Apple Flavoured Horse Semen Shots | Horse Semen

Pub Selling Apple Flavoured Horse Semen Shots

A pub in New Zealand has started selling a rather odd drink… apple flavoured horse semen. Yes you read that correctly.

Bosses at The Green Man Pub in Wellington say they started offering the spunky 30ml shots after coming up with it for a food contest.

And they have been blown away by the demand for the £12 drink which is served chilled and is said to contain about 300 million individual horse sperm cells.

Steve Drummond said women have been more curious than men about the unique drink.. though men have often dared each other into downing one.

He added there was also one female customer who's commented she was concerned because she thought she might conceive children with long faces. It's not known how much she'd had to drink first.

Raw Fish to Remedies Asthma | Natural Cure For Asthma Treatment

Curing From asthma Attack : A 166-year-old Indian medical practice has sparked the ire of a children's advocacy group, which claims the controversial tradition is potentially hazardous to youngsters' health.

As the BBC is reporting, Balula Hakkula Sangham wants children under the age of 14 to be exempt from a procedure which involves swallowing small live fish with herbal paste. The practice, which is typically administered to thousands at a two-day festival in the state of Andhra Pradesh, is thought to permanently cure asthma.

The AFP quotes a petition started by the group as saying, "The process of giving the medicine is unhygienic as the person gives it to lakhs (hundreds of thousands) of people without washing their hands." Balula Hakkula Sangham officials are also said to have slammed the unorthodox medicine as "unscientific" and a violation of human rights.

Claiming to have received the medicine recipe from a Hindu saint in 1845, Goud family members have fought back against the criticism. "It has been the practice of the Goud Family for the past 166 years to offer this medicine free of cost to those who need it," Bathini Harinath Goud, head of the family, said. He went on to note that 400,000 people participated in the fish-swallowing procedure last year. "These companies are paying money to rake up the issue as they are worried about the fish medicine affecting their business interests since what we administer is a permanent cure for asthma," he said.

The Times of India reports that the family has faced criticism for the practice previously, and had to rename it after a court order over the use of "medicine" for what is arguably a faith-based therapy.

Andhra Pradesh's Human Rights Commission on Tuesday has reportedly ordered a report into the complaints, which is expected to be delivered this week. Source :-huffingtonpost

Artist Makes Perfume From Her Urine

Artist Makes Perfume From Her Urine
Artist Makes Perfume From Her Urine

Conceptual artist Cherry Tree has a scent of mystery about her. And the smell of urine. Her urine. And it's intentional.

For the last five years, Tree, who splits time between Missouri and Spain, has been turning her own urine into perfume.

"I am very much into recycling," Tree, born Charity Blansit, told AOL Weird News. "And urine is something I've thought needs to be recycled, since it's something that gets eliminated."

It's a whiz of an idea and one that Tree was inspired to turn into a reality in 2006.

"It was the first morning after a full moon," she said. "And I decided to collect my urine in a perfume bottle."

At first, Tree's concept was only to collect urine after each full moon.

"I was fascinated by how the smell changes depending on what you eat," she said. "For instance, it smells really good after you eat a lot of honey and it smells terrible after eating chicken."

Tree was content simply to collect her urine in perfume bottles -- until one day when she decided to take it to the next step.

"I noticed each bottle had its own scent, so I thought I'd add a little sugar to it and make a real 'eau de toilette,'" she laughed.

To the casual observer, the idea of making perfume from pee may sound gross, but there is a precedent to it, Tree said.

"People like the smell of musk? Well, one type of musk comes from a gland located between the stomach and genitals of a deer," she said.

She took lessons from her brother, Jim Blansit, who runs a boutique distillery near Branson, Mo. After studying how he made vodka and whiskey, she applied his techniques to her urine-scented perfume.

Her first batch didn't work -- but not because it stunk.

"It actually smelled great. It was very chocolatey. I think it was because I was drinking a lot of coffee at the time," she said. "But I didn't put enough sugar in it for it to ferment, so I had to throw it out."

Although urine is a waste product, it is sterile -- unlike feces -- when it leaves the human body unless the individual has a disease. And fermenting it, as Tree does, creates alcohol, which kills any existing germs.

Tree estimates that distilling reduces her urine input by half, but admits she's still in the experimental stage and hasn't committed to one recipe.

Still, she is starting to dream of a day when she can sell her pee-powered perfume to the masses.

"I'd have to sell it in small quantities or make it for people out of their own urine," she said. "Honestly, I don't want to imagine the logistics of that."

It might seem safe to assume that Tree's dream of becoming a pee perfume mogul would piss off her family, but her brother is pleased as punch (provided, of course, that punch doesn't contain Tree's not-so-secret ingredient).

"I've always admired her imagination and creativity," Blansit said. "I think she watched me distill and applied it to perfumes. To be honest, I think what she's doing harkens back to an old tradition, because who knows what was in the original perfumes."

And Tree's hobby may be unusual, but it's more common than one might want to think.

Earlier this year, as part of an art project called "The Sun Is But One Anus," artist Jammie Nicholas distilled "essential oils" from his own excrement and sold several bottles for $80 a poop, er, pop.

Tree isn't ready to sell her urine-scented perfume, but she does see it as another way of explaining recycling to the masses.

"People need to realize it's both consumption and waste and we need to figure out how we can use it," she said.

Tree realizes some people may make a stink about her hobby, but it's natural to her.

"I have a close relationship to urine," she admitted. "I've done it all my life."

The Chef Who Can Deep Fry His Hands

The Chef Who Can Deep Fry His Hands
The Chef Who Can Deep Fry His Hands

Mr Trichan from Chiang Mai in Thailand is a deep fried chicken specialist with a hands on approach that in no way conforms to health and safety regulations.

None-the-less, 50-year-old Mr Trichan, who regularly forgets his cooking utensils, can dip his hands into a boiling hot wok of oil and bizarrely suffer no blisters or burning whatsoever.

It's party trick that has even earned him a Guinness World Record for pulling 20 pieces of chicken out of 480 degree oil in a minute.

Mr Trichan discovered his talent seven years ago when he was splashed with searing hot oil after a feasting squirrel knocked a mango into his frying wok.

'The fat flew everywhere, all over my head, arms, hands. It should have seriously hurt me,' he said about the initial oil bath.

'I remember looking in the mirror, expecting to see blisters and red blotches, but there was nothing.

'Now I can fry rice, chicken, and many things with just my bare hands,

'When I put my hands into the oil it feels hot but it doesn't burn or blister my skin.'

Scooping his deep fried delicacies out from the wok has earned Mr Trinchan world-wide acclaim and people travel far and wide to visit his food stall which lies near the Chiang Mai technical college, 470 miles north of Bangkok.

'The people were loving it. They've never seen anything like it before,' he said.

'People were coming from all over just to buy my chicken and watch me spoon it out with hands,

'It's crazy, but my stall gets busier and busier every day with tourists and customers wanting to see me.'

Bangladeshi Women Cuts off Alleged Assaulter's Penis as Evidence

Bangladesh say a woman cut off a man's penis during an alleged attempt to rape her and took it to a police station as evidence.

The incident took place in Mirzapur village, Jhalakathi, about 200km (124 miles) south of the capital, Dhaka.

Monju Begum, 40, a married mother of three, told police that neighbour Mozammel Haq Mazi forced his way into her shanty and started assaulting her.

Mr Mazi, who denies the accusation, has been admitted to a nearby hospital.

"We will arrest him once his condition gets better," police spokesman Abul Khaer told the BBC.

"She said she fought back and cut off his penis and brought it to our police station in a polythene bag to prove that Mr Mazi tried to rape her," police spokesman Abul Khaer told the BBC.

"She has registered a case accusing him of attempted rape," he said.

"It is quite an unusual incident. As far as I am aware, this is the first time that a woman has brought a severed penis to the police station as evidence."

Monju Begum told police that Mr Mazi, a married father of five, had been harassing her for the past six months.'Revenge attack'

But Mr Mazi denied the allegations.

"We were having an affair and recently she suggested that both of us can go and settle down in Dhaka," Mr Mazi told the BBC from the hospital in nearby Barisal.

"I refused and told her that I cannot leave my wife and children, so she took revenge on me."

Prof AMSM Sharfuzzaman, a senior surgeon at the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital in Barisal town, told the BBC it had not been possible to reattach the organ.

"Police brought his severed penis several hours after the incident," he said.

"We are treating him so that he can urinate normally without the penis."
